THIS BAY OWL IS CURRENTLY BEING FOSTERED BY TWO ADULTS OWLS NAMED FIL AND HITCH, AFTER BEING ADMITTED TO THE RAPTOR TRAUMA CLINIC

The Audubon Center for Birds of Prey (Facebook Website) will host their annual Baby Owl Shower on May 7th from 10 a.m.-noon at their Maitland facility, located at 1101 Audubon Way [GMap].

The event is the Center’s largest fundraiser of the year and helps them to raise needed funds to support regular operations as well as to care for the spike in baby patients they see each spring. Guests can join in for a day of activities and visit the Center’s special ambassador birds. Some non-releasable baby raptors may also be available to look at too.

Admission is free with the donation of an item from the Center’s wish list available HERE, which includes items like powdered laundry detergent, large trash bags, king-sized large sheets, toilet paper, paper towels, Gerber all-meat (turkey or chicken) baby food, 50lb dry dog food, and more.
