The Orlando Public Library will be hosting a day-long celebration of books on April 30th from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at its downtown location.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature a slew of authors and panels, including a keynote address by New York Times bestselling author, Tim Dorsey – a former reporter and editor for the Tampa Tribune from 1987 to 1999 and author of the Serge Storms series.

Other authors include Christopher Balzano, Jon Busdeker (and myself) for 100 Things to Do in Orlando Before You Die, Trish Doller, Elle e. Ire, and Raquel V. Reyes.

The program is as follows:

  • 10:30 a.m. – Panel: Writing for Kids and Teens
  • Noon – Panel: Tension and Twists
  • 1:30 p.m. – Panel: We Need to Talk About Florida
  • 3 p.m. – Closing Keynote: Tim Dorsey

Each panel will be followed by a 30-minute signing featuring the authors on the panel.
