Thousands of Orlandoans have applied for COVID rental assistance

The City of Orlando has just released the latest numbers from its Emergency Rental Assistance Program, which we’ve written about previously HERE.

Those numbers are as follows:

• 4,501 applications are currently in progress. 
• 2,480 applications have been submitted.
• Of the submitted applications, 439 have been approved. 
• Of the approved applications, 225 have been paid. 

A map of where the paid applicants reside within the city has been shared above and all rental assistance program information can be found at orlando.gov/assistance or [email protected]. 

The City of Orlando was awarded $6.8 million in COVID-19 Relief Funds to provide assistance to households that were financially impacted by the pandemic.
