The James Beard Foundation will return to Orlando with its cross-America tour series on July 12, which spotlights local chefs and independent restaurants in cities all over the nation.

The 2022-2023 Taste America Culinary Series will bring the 20 -city tour to Orlando’s Kabooki Sushi (Website) on Colonial Drive to spotlight the two-time James Beard Award nominee Chef Henry Moso, alongside featured guest chef, Taylor Thornhill of Bateau steakhouse in Seattle.

Guests will enjoy a multi-course meal with beverage pairings, created just for the evening.

More than half of each ticket sold goes directly to local participating chefs/restaurants to support their businesses and the remainder will support the James Beard Foundation’s national programming, including the Open For Good campaign, which is their commitment to help independent restaurants survive the pandemic, and come out stronger than when it started.

Tickets are $350 for two people and are available to purchase HERE. This event will sell out, like the previous event which was hosted at Reyes Mezcaleria in 2021.
