Lunar Eclipse Viewing Event

Join the staff of the Emil Buehler Planetarium and the Central Florida Astronomical Society as we observe this year’s total eclipse of the Moon. A lunar eclipse is when the Moon enters the Earth’s shadow, creating an eerie red color that has given it the nickname, “Blood Moon.” The event will begin at 8 pm and will go on until 3 am with totality happening around midnight.
