Orlando Brewing (Facebook Website), which we’ve told you before, HERE, was being forced to leave its longtime home in a SoDo warehouse, has been waxing poetic for the past few months on where its new home will be, and it appears the owner has finally made up his mind.

As first reported by Austin Fuller of Orlando Sentinel, brewery owner John Cheek has shared that he will be relocating his brewery operations to International Drive and also be opening a new taproom concept at Orlando International Airport.

Cheek held a “Big Reveal” party on Wednesday, June 1, that he will be vacating his current home at 1301 Atlanta Avenue [GMap] and heading to 5368 International Drive [GMap] just east of Fun Spot America.

Cheek also shared that the airport concept will be a collaboration with another restaurant group on something called “Orlando Brewing Bar and Bites.”

The brewery has until July 5th to be completely moved out before the building is razed by Orlando Health as part of its ongoing campus expansion plans with its last day of operations being July 4th.

The new 12,000 SF International Drive location is expected to open this September.
