WUCF has just announced that it will be premiering a tv special called Live From Studio A featuring the University of Central Florida’s The Flying Horse Big Band, which was recorded at the newly-opened Steinmetz Hall, on Thursday, June 9 at 8:30 p.m.
The program will focus on Jeff Rupert, host of WUCF radio’s Jazz and the American Spirit and Director of Jazz Studies at UCF, and a performance of the UCF Flying Horse Big Band which was recorded during UCF Celebrates the Arts in April 2022.
Listeners will also be able to hear the program on June 11 and June 14 at 7 p.m. on 89.9 Jazz and More.
