A new coffee shop is opening in one of downtown Orlando’s newest high rises, the MAA Robinson at 328 N. Orange Avenue [GMap], just across the street from Tacos El Ranchero and Fratelli’s Italian.
Altura Craft Coffee (Instagram | Facebook) is co-owned by Rebecca Blandon, whose family has been farming coffee in Jinotega, Nicaragua for four generations. The concept is “seed-to-cup” meaning they will grow, import, roast, and brew the coffee from start to finish themselves.
“Not only do we want to showcase our farm and educate our consumers on what coffee culture is all about, but how it all began from seed to cup. I’m pretty passionate about coffee and just want to share that with the city.”
– REBECCA BLANDON, CO-OWNER ALTURA CRAFT COFFEE
An exact food program had not been made public at the time of this post though Blandon shared with Bungalower that she plans on having sandwiches, toasts, and pastries available, all with a “Hispanic twist.”
Altura Craft Coffee has a projected opening date of mid-July/early August of 2022.
Excellent news looking forward to see this Hispanic twist in Winter Park 😀
