Accomplished trial lawyer and former wife of Orlando Mayor John Dyer, Karen Caudill Dyer, has passed away following complications with her battle against brain cancer.
Mayor Dyer took to social media to share the news of her death earlier today.
The two were married for 29 years before their divorce in 2017. The two met while attending law school at the University of Florida and were married in 1988. They had two sons, Trey and Drew. She was the first female partner at her firm, Boies Schiller Flexner.
