California-based restaurant chain, Solita Tacos and Margaritas (Facebook | Website), has just signed a 10-year lease for a vacant storefront on a very prominent corner in downtown Orlando later this year.

The new restaurant will take over the empty 5,300 SF space left behind by Wahlburgers at 200 S. Orange Avenue [GMap], when it abandoned the Central Business District in June 2020. There are currently locations in Anaheim, Huntington Beach, Long Beach, and Valencia.

The menu features a variety of dishes inspired by Baja, Mexico and California-smoked goodies like the “pork belly dorado,” the Cadillac,” and “Cale elote” tacos, as well as burritos, enchiladas, ribs, and more.

Solita’s owners expect to be open for business by the end of the year.
