Orlando City Soccer will be hosting the 2022 US Open Cup final on September 7 after completely crushing the New York Red Bulls 5-1 during Wednesday’s semifinal match.
Despite lots of rain, the Lions managed to gain the upper hand and get some revenge after a 3-0 defeat to New York in late April. The two teams will be playing each other again in August for regular season play but at the Red Bull Arena.
The Lions will play against D.C. United at 5 p.m. this Sunday.
