A new coffee shop is now open in a former retail shop across the street from Rollins College.
We first wrote about the project HERE when it was being called “Rockstar Coffee” but, for some mysterious reason I never took the trouble to look into, it’s now known as Frappestar Coffee (Instagram).
The interior is simple and well-lit, with some fun views of the Rollins College soccer field and the gateway to Park Avenue. They had a puzzle on the table for guests to dive into and a cozy corner that was already full of college students when I visited.
The menu is fairly expansive with a variety of coffee and tea drinks, some of which you can see in the Instagram Reel embedded below. They’re open 6 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday to Friday, 6 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday, and 6 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday.
Frappestar is now open at 552 S. Park Avenue [GMap].
