Once upon a time, Bungalower Media co-launched a locally-focused apparel shop with our friends at Go Big Marketing, called Orlando Shirts. Through the years, we sold everything from neighborhood-inspired t-shirts to super sexy bomber jackets. The concept did so well that our friends from Go Big even opened up a brick-and-mortar shop in Mills 50 in 2016, just a year after the launch online, and the shop inspired one of the most-photographed murals in the City Beautiful.
Eventually, we parted ways with Go Big, the store closed, and then was sold to the folks at HIFIVE (Website) early in 2022. HIFIVE, led by Chris Delahoz and Jordan Eichenblatt (who also happen to own popular Mexican hot dog cart, Cholo Dogs), has relaunched the brand and invited us to play in the Orlando Shirts sandbox once again and release a new series of Orlando-inspired designs, and some of those designs are now available online – like this “Manatees are just fat dolphins” tee or our adorable “Emotional Baggage” tote bag, pictured above.
Bungalower Buddy members should check their emails for a special members-only discount code for 20% off their purchase in the Bungalower shop, and we will be doing some limited-edition flash sale items in the near future as well – including bringing back the aforementioned sexy bomber jackets.
Other current items include our O.G. College Park crest shirt, a tongue-in-cheek “More Swan Shit” tank, “Thrills on Mills,” and some special beach towels designed by rock star artist Schiani “Sleds” Ledo – who you may recognize from the Celestial Apes mural we commissioned from him in 2020. And don’t forget our special “Cock Block” tee inspired by the confluence of fried chicken restaurants on and around 17-92/ Mills Avenue.
New designs will be added on a regular basis moving forward so stay tuned to the shop and our social feeds for any updates so you don’t miss out on any fresh new merchandise.
