The Orlando Solar Bears are hosting tryouts for their in-house hype squad/cheer team on Saturday, August 28.
The local hockey team will be giving die-hard fans a chance to join their hype team to assist with on-ice contests, dancing, and launching prizes into the crowd during timeouts at the games.
The tryouts are scheduled for 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, August 28 at UKnight Training Center at 4304 Metric Drive [GMap] in Winter Park.
Candidates should be over the age of 18 and available to work a minimum of 50% of the Orlando Solar Bears home schedule, in addition to community events and appearances. All candidates should be prepared to showcase their talent with a 30-second performance followed by a panel interview.
