PHOTO VIA CREATIVE CITY PROJECT

The Creative City Project (Website) may not be hosting its annual takeover of downtown Orlando, Immerse, this year but one of their previous partnerships with the UK’s Architects of Air is slated to return in October and it’s something you won’t want to miss.

AIRPLAY, a massive inflatable maze that popped-up in the Central Business District some years ago, will return to the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts on October 1 and run through till October 30. The pop-up architecture is designed to catch the light on the exterior of the structure to illuminate the inside of the structure creating otherwordly, cathedral-like landscapes that are truly one-of-a-kind.

Tickets are now on sale HERE for the installation. 80 guests will be allowed entry for 30-minute windows of time before being ushered out for a new cohort of visitors. Tickets are $20 per person and children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult – just because it’s inflatable doesn’t mean you can treat it like a bounce house. The structure is made with very thin plastic material and can be torn if you’re acting like a jackass.
