Orlando Weekly released the results of its annual Best Of readers’ poll this week and Bungalower’s weekly radio show, Bungalower and The Bus, scored second place in Best Local Podcast.
B&tB launched in 2017 and features Bungalower editor, Brendan O’Connor, and Orange County Sheriff Department’s Chief Storyteller, Jon Busdeker, and airs weekly at 8 p.m. on Friday nights, when they discuss the top headlines in Orlando’s downtown “bungalow neighborhoods” and is recorded at various locations around The City Beautiful.
Local podcasting champions Tom Vann and Daniel Dennis for A Mediocre Time With Tom & Dan. The talented duo have been hosting their show since 2009. The two have been regulars on Real Radio 104.1 FM for years and currently host a more safe-for-radio program called A Corporate Time With Tom & Dan 7-9 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The third place winner for Best Local Podcast was The Sixth Man Show, an Orlando Magic fan podcast.
NOTE: A Mediocre Time With Tom & Dan has won every year since 2016 for this category.
