The Thornton Park Neighborhood Association’s annual A Taste of Thornton Park event will return on Thursday, October 20, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. for the first time in three years.

Despite the three-year gap, this will be the event’s 21st year, and is the largest fundraiser of the year for the organization, and helped to pay for the iconic Four Rivers Fountain at the intersection of Washington Street and North Hyer Avenue, which was modeled after the Fontaine de la Place Louvois with each figure representing one of the four great rivers of France.

This year’s event will take place in the streets surrounding the fountain and will feature unlimited food and drinks from neighborhood businesses that are donating their products to the event. There will be a live DJ, an awards ceremony, and more.

Tickets are $40 in advance or $50 the day of with proceeds going to support the maintenance of the fountain, holiday luminaries, the annual Easter egg hunt, and quarterly newsletters. Click HERE to purchase.
