Orlando Fringe (Website) has just launched a new fund to support local artists in honor of Doug Bowser, aka Taffy Pinkerbox, a local comedian, actor, and previous host of Bungalower Bingo, who passed away this summer.
The new Doug Bowser Comedic Actors Memorial Fund is a cash award that will be given to a Fringe drag or comedy show each year, with a preference given to local up-and-coming drag queens.
Donations are currently being accepted through United Arts of Central Florida, as the charity on record to Orlando Fringe, with 100% of all donations to be given away as future awards.

Orlando Fringe is the longest-running Fringe Theatre Festival in the United States and features a diverse list of shows and talent from around the world each spring. The next Fringe Festival is scheduled to take place May 16-29, 2023.
