The new Packing District in the Fairvilla neighborhood to the west of College Park is still under development but once completed, it will be home to a number of amenities including new bike trails, a large urban garden, and now a public dog park.
The new Packing District Dog Park will feature a 1.5-acre space for large dogs and a one-acre area for small dogs. Other features will include two shade shelters, a pavilion with seating, various benches and seating, built-in dog drinking bowls and a drinking fountain/hydration station for their owners, a dog wash area, and palm and shade trees.
The park will be located near the intersection of Princeton Street and Texas Avenue, near Orange Blossom Trail, next to the City Park and the new Orlando Tennis Centre.
