CityArts (Facebook | Website) will be hosting its annual Day of the Dead/Halloween-inspired soiree, Dia de los Muertos and Monster Factory on October 20 at its downtown gallery.
The event will feature seasonally-inspired art from local artists and the Mexican Consulate of Orlando, as well as food and drink from local vendors like MZ Taco and Tamale Co. Mexican Street Food.
Tickets are $5 for entry to the gallery but there is also a “Sugar Skull Experience” package which includes entry, one meal voucher for participating food trucks, two drink tickets, and access to a special tequila tasting in the CityArts Courtyard. Other features will include special performances by Phantasmagoria, a monarch butterfly photo op, a mariachi band, and Mexico Lindo Folklorico Ballet of Orlando.
