Jade Sushi and New Asian (Facebook | Instagram) in College Park has closed.

The restaurant, which was located at 2425 Edgewater Drive [GMap], was in business for nearly 10 years and was run by chef-owner Lewis Lin, who also owns Susuru by Disney Springs and Susuru Juju on Colonial Drive. Lin shared that the lease for the restaurant was not renewed by the landlord.

“It is with humble gratitude and a heavy heart that we announce the closing of Jade Sushi & New Asian. The landlord doesn’t renew our lease. This has been a very difficult and emotional decision and we are so sad to say goodbye, after 10 years. For an Asian restaurant to survive and thrive in College Park for 10 years is an accomplishment of which we can all be proud. And we couldn’t have done it without all of you.”

Their last day of business was Saturday, November 5.

According to the Orange County Property Appraiser, the property is owned by Furst Realties, Inc.
