Team Market Group (Website), the company that we told you recently purchased St. Matthew’s Tavern and The Acre in College Park, has just acquired a new chef to add to their portfolio.

Chef Jason Campbell, the talent behind the award-winning Luke’s Kitchen + Bar (Website) in Maitland, has just announced that he has joined the crew at Team Market Group (TMG) to run their new food program at the under-construction Primrose Lanes Restaurant and Bowling Club (Instagram) in the Milk District.

Chef Campbell, who has worked with Ravenous Pig and Mary Eddy’s Kitchen x Lounge in Oklahoma City, took to Facebook to share the news, thanking the team at Park Lights Hospitality for his time with the company and saying how “stoked” he was to be joining TMG on the new project.

TMG purchased Colonial Lanes in June 2021 and has been working on an extensive renovation of the property, which will include a chef-driven restaurant concept serving elevated versions of old-school diner food using seasonal and local ingredients.

Primrose Lanes Restaurant and Bowling Club is expected to open this summer.
