New York-based In Good Company Hospitality has announced the pending opening of its new Winter Park-based restaurant, Park Avenue Tavern, at 558 W. New England Avenue [GMap] in the former home of Dexter’s in Hannibal Square.

The new Park Avenue Tavern will feature a menu of New American-style dishes including dishes like burrata with grilled stone fruit compete and crispy prosciutto, fresh watermelon salad with arugula, feta, red onions, and mint vinaigrette, fish and chips, pastrami Reuben, and more.

The original Park Avenue Tavern (Website) is located in Midtown Manhattan, opened in 2010, and is known for having an award-winning burger, which was named “Best Burger” by The Wall Street Journal. The new location will have three different burgers on the menu, including a new plant-based Impossible burger option.

Park Avenue Tavern will be hosting a private VIP opening party on the 29th before opening to the public sometime in early February.

Dexter’s of Winter Park closed in 2019 before opening Dexter’s New Standard in the Ravaudage development and subsequently closing in 2021.
