Major League Pickleball (MLP) has just announced the addition of two new teams to its growing league, one of which is in Orlando.

Orlando Squeeze (Facebook) is sponsored by the DeVos family, more specifically, Rollins College graduate Ryan DeVos, the current Vice President of Shareholder Engagement for Orlando Magic.

The 2023 MLP season is scheduled to begin January 26-29 in Mesa, Arizona and it will be broadcast live on the Tennis Channel.

Side Note: Squeeze used to be the name of the Florida Citrus Parade mascot. Also, do you think the Squeeze logo looks a lot like the OCLS mascot, Squirt? Are they friends, cousins, lovers? Are they destined to fight to the death? Is there only room for one orange-shaped mascot with a hat and sneakers?
