The Orlando Guardians lost to the San Antonio Brahmas this Sunday in the Guardians’ home opener here in Orlando.
An estimated crowd of 12,000 people watched the Guardians rake in 13 penalties and lose 30-12 at the Camping World Stadium, which can hold roughly 65,000 people on a busier day (like Monster Jam).
Coach Terrell Buckley, who spent most of the game shaking his head in a mix of disgust and dismay, took to Twitter to share the following statement.
The Guardians lost their first game of the inaugural season to the Houston Roughnecks in Texas last week 33-12.
