3/27 UPDATE: The Lake Alert has been lifted for Lake Highand.
The City of Orlando has issued a Lake Alert for Lake Highland.
The alert is in response to a sanitary sewer overflow caused by a grease blockage nearby. The City of Orlando is advising that all nearby residents cease water activities in and around the lake and stop irrigating with water from the lake until further notice.
