The Winter Park Girls Crew Team (Website) will compete at the Henley Royal Regatta (Website), near London, England, this July, and will be hosting a fundraiser event on Thursday, May 4, in order to make the trip across the pond.
The local rowing team will host its Park Across the Pond art party and auction at The Gallery 32789, located at 515 N. Park Avenue [GMap] from 6-9 p.m. The event will feature wine and hors d’oeuvres served by George’s Cafe and a silent auction featuring donated small artworks.
Tickets to the party are $75 per person and available HERE for purchase.
The team succeeded in qualifying for the same regatta in 2022 and won second place and they hope to take home first in 2023. They are one of the best teams in the country.
