The former home of Harmon Photo in Ivanhoe Village has been vacant for a number of years now but it seems its days of sitting empty have come to a close, with the signing of a new tenant.
S&B Holdings Group LLC, which purchased the land in 2018, tried to drum up some buzz in 2021 with some innovative renderings of what could be built on the site of the former camera shop, including spitballing a restaurant/bar use with a rooftop patio, but parking constraints being what they are, they failed to attract a new food use to the Ivanhoe corridor.
The team at Two Chic Beautique (Instagram) has signed the lease for the building, located at 1323 N. Orange Avenue [GMap], for use as a new salon. The new Trés Ivanhoe Salon (Instagram) is currently being prepped for construction to begin with a hopeful completion date by the end of the year.
I happened to be driving by in April when the team was taking a celebratory photo after signing the lease and captured it for Instagram, thinking it was a fun #InfluencersInTheWild post.
