The City of Orlando and Lynx have just announced a new partnership that will bring an autonomous shuttle service to downtown Orlando and Parramore.

The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (Lynx) will join forces with Beep Inc., which currently provides an electric autonomous shuttle service in Lake Nona, to bring a similar service to Creative Village.

Two new driverless shuttles are expected to run on sections of the Lymmo bus route through the Creative Village campus and back to the Lynx Central Station between August 2023 and April 2024. The shuttles will fit up to eight people at a time.

The city will reevaluate the program after a one-year pilot before considering expanding the service to other parts of downtown Orlando.
