Harry P. Leu Gardens (Website) has just appointed a new executive director.

Jennifer D’hollander was appointed earlier in the month and has experience with non-profit governance and museum leadership. Her most recent jobs were as Director of Business Development at Z Axis Solutions in Winter Haven, executive director for Lake Wales History Museum, and a ten-year stint at the Bok Tower Gardens as Director of Visitor Services and Programs.

D’hollander currently serves on the board for Polk Arts and Culture Alliance and is a member of the Lake Wales Chamber of Commerce, and the American Association of Museums.

Frank Billingsley, the former Director of Placemaking and Competitiveness, came out of retirement to serve as the temporary director following the departure of longtime director Robert Bowden in 2022.
