FusionFest (Website) will be bringing back its popular Culinary Arts Contest for a seventh year, in collaboration with Valencia College’s Walt Disney World Center for Culinary Arts and Hospitality in Creative Village.
The event will kick off on Wednesday, June 5, and features a lineup of talented chefs who are being challenged to combine at least two different cultural cuisines to create something new. Thirty tickets are available for purchase for guests to experience the dinners over four separate nights.
- Wednesday, June 5, featuring Jahmari Marsh, Michelli Denardi T., Dylan Phillips, Violetta Gir, Apollo Hamwey, Adity Gandhi, and Marquise Smith.
- Thursday, June 6, featuring Ashley Alonso, Jennifer Bellorin, Stephanie Duggins, David Folger, Toolia Kamanya, K Charles Phillips, and Shaan Roopnarine.
- Monday, June 10, featuring Sajan Premajan, Marco Gonzalez, Asawin Jockkeaw, Zach Mehner, Josefina Mercedes, Stopher Condry, and Kamari White.
- Tuesday, June 11, featuring Kegan Baker, Rachel Ellis, Alexander Gonzalez, Beena Hadley, Mike Martino, Carolina Peinado, and Saal Shuler.
Attendees will have the opportunity to vote for the Audience Choice award, and each night, the Audience Choice winner, while a panel of judges will choose their own.
