Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co. (Website) has just announced its acquisition of select assets of the recently defunct Deadwords Brewing company.
The popular brewery, located at 23 N. Orange Blossom Trail [GMap], filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on October 1, 2023, before ultimately calling it quits on April 27, 2024. At the time, the owner David Satterfield shared, “We’ve had a rough go financially for the past year, and my personal ability to keep it afloat dried up.”

Closson shared with Bungalower that he is still ideating what the new space will operate as once it reopens, but that it will indeed operate under the Ivanhoe Park branding umbrella.
A reopening timeline was not available at the time of this post.
