The City of Orlando will host a special ceremony to honor local veterans on Friday, May 24th, at Greenwood Cemetery.

The community is invited to join District 4 City Commissioner Patty Sheehan and Mayor Dyer’s Veterans Advisory Council members to honor and remember veterans who lost their lives in service to the American government.

The Memorial Day Commemoration Ceremony will feature an address by Michael Adams, president of the Mayor’s Veterans Advisory Council, starting at 6 p.m.

Greenwood Cemetery is located at 1603 Greenwood Street [GMap].
