New banners are flying from the tower of the currently vacant The Hall on The Yard in Ivanhoe Village, with the name of the new operators spelled out in bold lettering; “City Food Hall.”
According to a company insider, who wished to remain nameless, this is the same City Food Hall (Website) that currently operates food halls in Destin and West Palm Beach. According to its website, City Food Hall currently has three more locations in the works, including Orlando, Gainesville, and Atlanta, Georgia.
While a formal announcement from both The Yard and City Food Hall is forthcoming, the existing City Food Hall locations have made a name for themselves for their curated selection of operators, consulting work, and event programming. They are also known for their TopGolf Swing Suites, which offer immersive projection screen games to enjoy while you’re eating your progressive food hall dinner (progressive in the sense that you had to go to multiple spots to get all the dishes. Not politically).
An opening timeline for the new concept is not public at this time.
The Hall on The Yard closed suddenly in April 2024.
