Just two weeks ago, Hamburger Mary’s Orlando (Facebook | Website) announced that it would be abandoning the windswept landscape of Church Street in favor of unnamed greener pastures. We can now confirm that they are moving out of Orlando entirely, and setting up shop closer to the parks in Kissimmee.

The exact address in Kissimmee is yet to be released.

In other Hamburger Mary’s news, the restaurant’s Broadway Brunch squad will be temporarily relocating to Jack and Honey’s restaurant in Thornton Park while the new restaurant is being built.

Hamburger Mary’s has been located at 110 W. Church Street [GMap], in the historic Bumby building, for the past 16 years, and according to Paonessa, has served almost two million people since it opened. They have been known for their ongoing drag performances, brunches, and events, and most recently for standing up to the State’s “Protection of Children Law,” Senate Bill 1438.

Their last day of service was June 2.
