Orlando-based American burger bar chain, Graffiti Junktion (Instagram | Website), has just announced that it will close its Thornton Park location by the end of the month.
The restaurant has been serving burgers at its current location on the corner of Washington and Summerlin. They moved the restaurant into the former Wildside Bar and Grille in 2016, which was owned by RB Management, the owners of Pacino’s Italian Ristorante, and Pulse Orlando. Prior to that, it was located up the street at 900 E. Washington Street [GMap] where Cavo’s is currently.
Graffiti Junktion is expected to close on Sunday, July 28, according to a recent post on social media, saying “On behalf of the staff we thank everyone for over a decade of support and overwhelming love! We’d love to see you all one last time this week as a new chapter begins for us and the block. Let’s make sure we go out with a bang!”
The College Park location closed in March 2023. Two locations are remaining, one in Jacksonville and another in Orlando’s Curry Ford West neighborhood.
Does anyone know what is planned for the Graffiti corner? I’ve heard lots of rumors…would love to know the facts.
The CFW locations is nothing like the one in Thornton Park. The one in Thornton has great food and some great people that work there. I cannot say the same, at least the last couple of times I have been at the CFW location. Granted, it was about 6+ months ago at least since I tried it again, but once Piper’s left, that location has never been the same. I can only hope that something good replaces the Thornton location.
I really liked their location in Dr. Phillips, great place to grab a beer and watch the crazy traffic on I-4. Hopefully they can bounce back and become the go-to burger place for our area once again. At least we still have the CFW location.
