Downtown Credo (Website), the former pay-what-you-want coffee shop chain, has announced the closure of its final location in the North Quarter by the end of the month.

The shop opened in November 2016 as a three-way partnership between the Pop Parlour, The Farmacy, and Downtown Credo, as a community market/coffee shop concept. Through the years, its partners changed and it dropped the General Store programming and leaned more into coffee and art.

The company’s original location closed in 2020, followed by the store in AdventHealth in July 2023 (which is being replaced by a Starbucks).

Credo will close its North Quarter location on August 25. They will continue to sell their locally roasted coffee online.
