According to paperwork filed with the City of Orlando by Z Development Services, a developer (under the names East West Place LLC and FL Acquisition LLC) is looking to build a new 36-unit townhome project on almost two acres of assembled properties in the Hourglass District, just south of downtown Orlando on Curry Ford Road.

The project is generally located west of Clark Street, North of Curry Ford Road, and east of South Primrose Drive, consisting of 1.9 acres, comprised of at least five separate parcels, which are all in the process of being annexed from the County to the City. The applicant is requesting allowances for reduced front yard setbacks to accommodate the number of townhomes on the site.
A stormwater pond is being proposed for the center of the project and will included landscaping and pedestrian connections around it to make it more of an amenity.
This project is in the very early stages with the City of Orlando and is likely to change as/if it progresses through permitting. It is scheduled to be discussed at the August 20, 2024, Municipal Planning Board meeting at City Hall.
