With the recent 1-0 defeat of the Houston Dash, Orlando Pride has officially broken the record for the most unbeaten Regular Season matches in NWSL history.
The August 23rd win marked the 18th straight unbeaten match for the team. During the match, Summer Yates scored her fifth goal of the season and her third game-winning goal of the year. Orlando City now has 41 points for the year, the most they’ve ever earned in a season.
Pride’s next match is scheduled for Sunday, September 1, at 6 p.m. against NJ/NY Gotham FC. This will be the first regular season home game for the team since before the Olympics started.
