New York-based In Good Company Hospitality opened a Winter Park outpost of its storied Park Avenue Tavern (Website) back in January 2023 with a classic menu of New American-style dishes and a claim that it had an amazing burger – backed up by The Wall Street Journal which named it “Best Burger” back in the day.
Fast-forward to Summer 2024, and the company has now named a new executive chef known for turning an amazing burger of his own; Chef Nibaldo Urdaneta. Urdaneta has a strong resume with stints at the InterContinental Hotel Maracaibo in Venezuela, Beaker and Gray in Miami, Disney’s The Yachtsman Steakhouse, the Ritz Carlton, and The Ravenous Pig. He also opened Mu Restaurant and Grill in Kissimmee where he earned Orlando Weekly‘s Best Burger designation twice and was featured in Garden and Gun in a gorgeous writeup by John T. Edge.

Park Ave Tavern has just launched a new fall menu featuring items like pumpkin gnocchi, sausage and mash, bone-in short rib and truffle mac and cheese, alongside a short rib hash and pimento chicken sandwich.
