Ivanhoe-based Ten 10 Brewing (Instagram | Website) has signed up to support Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida with a special craft beer fundraising can, just in time for Hunger Action Month this September.
The brewery team has developed a special American Wheat Ale called “30 in 30” which will be available on tap and in 16 oz cans as part of its 30 Ways in 30 Days initiative. The cans can also be purchased at eight ABC stores in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties through September 31. To find a participating store, visit www.feedhopenow.org.
A public kickoff event will be hosted on Saturday, September 7, with samples of the beer and live music. Tickets are $10 at the door and include one beer on entry. All proceeds from the event and $1 of each can be sold throughout the month, will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank, which distributes roughly 300,000 meals to the needy every day.
The event will run from noon-4 p.m. at Ten 10 Brewing, which is located at 1010 Virginia Drive [GMap}.
