The Orange Audubon Society (Website) is offering a three-session fall Beginners’ Birdwatching Class launching this October for any hopeful amateur Twitchers (voracious birdwatchers).
The first class will launch on October 19, followed by another on October 27, and the final class on November 2. A makeup session will be held on January 5 if you miss one of the first three. Workshops are led by pro-birders Kathy Rigling and Susan Thome-Barrett.
All sessions are limited to 12 students and will run from 8 a.m.-11;30 a.m. but hop between Orlando Wetlands Park, Mead Botanical Garden, and the Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive. Registration is required and the total cost for all three sessions is $75 for non-members.
