Jason Lambert, owner of The Hammered Lamb (Facebook | Instagram) issued a plea on social media this week, asking for support in the face of possibly needing to close their popular restaurant/bar in Ivanhoe Village.
Lambert shares that this recent year has been the most difficult in Hammered Lamb’s 12 years of business, citing ongoing construction in and around the district as a major contributor to poor business traffic. Before the weekend, Lambert had announced that the restaurant would be closing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, their slowest days of the week, to help alleviate expenses.
The Hammered Lamb is hosting a Save the Lamb Fundraiser brunch on Saturday, September 14, to help raise some much-needed funds. The event starts at 10 a.m. and will feature entertainment, drink specials, special guests, raffles, and more.
An online fundraiser was also launched HERE with a goal of $150,000.
