Orange County Public Schools has joined with a growing number of school systems across the state to close ahead of Tropical Storm Helene’s approach to Florida.
Based on the Tuesday evening forecast, OCPS decided to close all of its schools on Thursday, September 26, as well as all after-school activities as of 6 p.m. Wednesday, September 25.
Any decision to close schools on Friday will be determined by the impact on Orange County and the timing of the storm.
