The Filipinos are taking over the Will’s Pub compound on October 19 for a block-wide celebration of local Filipinx creatives.
This year’s event will feature four stages of over 30 bands at Will’s Pub, Dirty Laundry, Lil Indies, and Uncle Lou’s just down the street. The lineup includes names like Bulko Boys, Caustic Bats, Feb the Lover, honeybeamz, Kuya!, paper aviator, Ramas, Riley Bragg, Sunstrife, The Fly Casals, The Milk Bandits, and more.
The event will also feature a food and art market. We assume someone will be serving actual halo halo (a popular cold dessert from the Philippines made with a smorgasbord of fruits), but we haven’t confirmed that with the event organizers. If not, Sampaguita (Instagram) is only a few blocks away.
