Paperwork has been filed for a courtesy review at City Hall of a proposed 10-story hotel project in downtown Orlando.
The property in question is 47 W. Jefferson Street [GMap], located just west of Orange Avenue and the soon-to-open projection park, Art² Park. The applicant is hoping to build a 253-room hotel with “associated amenities” which includes some sort of posh addition to the rooftop.
Plans also call for a ground-floor retail space.
This is very early in the process for this project and likely will see many updates and changes as it moves forward. The filed plans will be reviewed by the Appearance Review Board on September 19.
