The long-awaited mixed-use project, Westcourt (Website) (formerly known as Magic Entertainment District), has signed on Live Nation to run a new 3,500-seat entertainment venue on the soon-to-come Parramore development.

The announcement was first shared by Mayor Dyer during his State of Downtown address at the Kia Center and was followed by an onslaught of press releases from associated businesses, developers, and well-wishers.

The new 65,000 SF venue, led by Live Nation, Machete Group, and JMA, will host a wide range of events including concerts, comedy shows, community and special events, and more, along the same scale of Hard Rock Live and House of Blues (another Live Nation-run event venue).

Construction is expected to begin in early 2025 with a completion date of sometime in 2027. Live Nation has shared that the venue will employ roughly 300 people with a base pay starting at $20/hour for all staff.
