Orlando Zine Fest (Facebook | Instagram) has been happening for well over a decade, showcasing the region’s self-publishing creatives in a one-night celebration of weird print products.
The word “zine” (pronounced “zeen”) is short for magazine and refers to a form of self-published print products usually created with photocopiers. Zines are usually printed for a small circulation of under 1,000 copies but that varies, but they are all meant to share points of views rather than to make a profit. There are as many different types of zines in the world as there are artists and writers.
OZF 2024 will take place Saturday, December 14 at Blackbird Comics and Coffeehouse (Website) from 8-11 p.m. Groups or individuals who would like to sign up and share/sell their work can click HERE to sign up. Tables can’t be confirmed unless you RSVP.
