The Orlando Police Department is currently investigating a death that took place near the site of the Electric Daisy Carnival at Camping World Stadium late last week.
OPD received a call around 3 p.m. Wednesday, October 30, concerning an accident at the festival site, which is setting up around the stadium. Details of the incident are still not public at this time. We’ve issued a request for public record of the incident.
“The Orlando Police Department was made aware of an accident that took place on 10/30/2024 near Camping World Stadium. We were also made aware that an individual died, due to that accident, at the hospital. Our officers are currently conducting a death investigation. We do not have any additional information to provide at this time.“

EDC is a three-day music festival that will kick off this Friday, November 8 and it draws hundreds of thousands of people to the area.
