The Orlando Pottery Festival’s Orlando Pottery Festival and Holiday Arts Market (Facebook | Website), Central Florida’s largest ceramic art market, will return on Saturday, November 16, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, November 17, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the National Guard Armory at 2809 S. Ferncreek Avenue [GMap].
The market features hand-made creations from over 50 talented local artists, including highly regarded professional potters who exhibit in galleries and juried art festivals throughout the South; mid-career artists whose distinctive designs and signature items are fast becoming contemporary collectibles; longtime “hobby potters” who are channeling their creativity while mastering their craft in local pottery studios; and younger and emerging ceramic artists, some of whom are selling to the public for the first time.
Attendees will find functional and decorative work, like handmade everyday dishware, elegant ceramic jewelry, sculptural and figurative work, home and garden decor, and more.
The Orlando Pottery Festival and Holiday Arts Market is a family-friendly event for all ages and is free to attend.
